My favorite video was Khalids’, allog with Ali, Mohamed and Rami. It was my favorite because it was very funny and fun to watch, the quality was great and the audio was good. It’s story was very good. The actors where great.

Smoking

Smoking is the worst habit on this planet. People smoke either because it makes them look good, makes them warm in winter, or because they are used to it. Most young people today smoke because it will make them look cool, they also think that it will make them become a ‘man’. Most grown ups smoke because they are already addicted to it and can’t stop. Some will try to quit smoking but they will fail if they can’t face and defeat addiction. The nicotine in their body wants more of the person to smoke. It’s very hard to quit smoking especially if people smoke every day. Some people can’t live without smoking, the only time they don’t smoke is when they are asleep, eating, drinking, or taking a bath; that will be almost impossible for them to quit smoking.

Mother’s Day

My mother is the best human being in my life, I hope she lives till I die. She is the first love in my life. When I was a baby, the first time I opened my eyes she was in front of me . She will do everything to keep me safe. She will also do anything to make me feel happy, as well as my brother and sister. She doesn’t love one of us more than the other, she is always fair between us. She would get us and buy us stuff for no occasion just for us to feel good. She would stay up all night when I would be sick . She would feel terrible if I was sad and unhappy, she would feel good if I was happy. She would help me in whatever I need, homework or anything.

I love my mom more than anything in the world and I hope she lives and stays with me till I die.

Cinco De Mayo

Cinco De Mayo is Celebrated by the Mexicans and Americans. It is celebrated because on the 5th of May, 1862, the Mexicans peasants won the Battle of Puebla against the French, led by Napoleon III. They Celebrate by Mexican singing, dancing, feasting, costumes, sports activities, fireworks, and entertainment. Although the Mexican Army was defeated later, Cinco De Mayo symbolized patriotism and pride. The U.S. and Mexico still celebrate it today.

My Special Qualities

I sometimes feel humble every now and then, it depends on my mood and the situation i’m in. Sometimes I feel the opposite, I feel confident and proud of myself, that also depends on what I did and what condition and mood I am in. My Special Qualities is that i’m good at solving problems, like math and physics problems. Many people like teachers and my parent, tell me that I visualize well when it comes to solving mathematical and physics problems. People also tell me that i’m kind and helpful, sometimes I don’t see that in myself and I get a bit surprised when someone says that. Maybe people will know about you more than you know about yourself. People also tell me that I explain well, for example, when my brother or my sister have difficulties with their math or whatever homework, I explain to them and help them understand, They would understand me well and tell me that I teach and explain well. They also tell me that I should become a teacher.

Travel

I have went to many different places. The only European countries I’ve been to is Paris, France and London, England. I really enjoyed staying in London, Paris was a bit boring but I enjoyed the Louvre museum, I didn’t imagine the Mona Lisa portrait be that small. It was great going to London because the where different shops and malls and museums, I was impressed when I landed at Hetrow airport because it was very big and well decorated. I also went to Dubai a summer ago and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the Burj Dubai, or better known as Burj Khalifa, It wasn’t completed at the time but it was taller than I thought. The best thing I did there was going to the water park, it was allot better than the water park in Kuwait. I also went to Sharm el Shiekh last summer. I enjoyed snorkling and seeing all the colorful, beautiful coral reef. It was just under my feet, the fish looked amazing, it was like watching Finding Nemo but in real life, I didn’t expect them to get so close to you but they still swim away when you touch them. Another good thing I did in Sharm was para-sailing. I was high up in the sky with a parachute behind me and the view of the red sea was long and dark blue. I was dragged by a rope from the boat. I think the best place I ever been to was Sharm el shiekh because I did many different activities instead of just shopping and visiting places. The least favorite place I’ve been to was Paris because there wasn’t much to do and everything was expensive.

Bangkok Project

The hardest worker on the project I think was Ali because he had to research certain categories and different information and pictures. I think that the weakest thing was Hashim’s brochure because it was easy not as hard as the excel and Powerpoint. The part I was responsible for was the excel. Three different ways I could have improved the project was to improve the way I presented the project. I would stand up straight, have a good eye contact and say how excel has helped us which I forgot to say. The best project I think is mine because I got information from different media and sources but I could have improved the way I presented.

Titanic

The Titanic disaster is one of the worst disasters that happened in history. It happened on April 14, 1912. Everyone thought that the ship was unsinkable and they believed that it would be impossible to sink. They believed that the ship will be safer than home. In the Movie, a person said that even God himself can’t sink it. Well, God proved him wrong. Maybe God made the ship sink to make us believe that he is capable of doing anything and to prove our thoughts wrong. How the ship sank was that a part of the iceberg hit the lower part of the ship that was under water. The water entered and filled the lower part of the ship and that made the ship heavy on one side. The heavy side went down due to gravity and the other side rose up. The stress from the part that was holding the unstable heavy ship made the ship break in half. on part sank and the other part sank after. about 2000 people died either froze to death from the freezing water or sank. the sinking process took nearly 4 hours of agony, and chaos.

Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on April 14 1894. Lincoln was watching a comedy show called Our American Cousin. Lincoln was watching it at the balcony on the right side of ford theatre. When all of a sudden, the assassin named John Wilkes Booth came from behind him and shot him the the head. The rest of the family that where next to him survived the incident

Apollo 13

astronauts James Lovell Jr., John Swigert Jr. and Fred Haise Jr. were on a mission to the moon. During the mission, an oxygen tank blew up and the oxygen was escaping from the spacecraft. The explosion also caused the damage of electricity, light and water supply. The mission changed from landing on the moon to landing on Earth. The astronauts to the lunar module to get away from the escaping gas. their navigation system was destroyed as a result from the explosion so they used the sun to help them guide them home. After four days of hard work, the astronauts landed safely in the pacific ocean.
